Science Sleepovers!
Science After Dark
Bring your family or Scout troop on a Science Quest, embark on a 3D scavenger hunt, and explore the science behind anaglyph 3D. Investigate ultraviolet light in our glow room and try out some night vision goggles as you discover how nocturnal animals view the world around them. You might get to snooze next to R2-D2, dream beside seahorses, or catch some Z's in a space station.

All Science Center sleepovers include:
- Themed activities
- Omnimax movie
- Planetarium or laser show
- Live theater show
- Science workshop
- Sleeping among our exciting exhibits
- Official Science Center patch
- Late-night snack
- Continental breakfast
- Free admission for the day following the sleepover, including Highmark SportsWorks® and USS Requin
- Parking
Schedule
Check-in begins at 6 pm the evening of your sleepover, where you will receive a detailed schedule of the night's happenings. The overnight experience will begin with a brief orientation, after which participants will enjoy a night of themed activities. Lights-out is at midnight. All sleepover gear must be removed from the building by 9:30 am, but you are welcome to stay the day after and explore even more with your general admission, included in your sleepover cost!
Fees
Fee for all sleepovers is $35 per person. Groups need to provide one adult chaperone for every eight children. Families or those not part of a group must also have a parent or guardian present.

T-shirts
A CSI Sleepover T-shirt is the best souvenir to remember your special night at the Science Center. They will be on sale in the XPLOR Store the morning after your overnight experience.
