Groups of 15 or more people over age 3, when they make advance reservations, get this package for just $8 per person. Membership cards are not valid for group admissions.

If your group has time for only a short visit, you may book an Omnimax movie OR a laser show for $7 per person. Standard Omnimax movie pricing does not include Special Engagement Films.
Chaperones
- For groups of school-age children, chaperones are admitted at no cost at a ratio of one chaperone to every 10 students.
- For groups of preschool children, one chaperone per five children is admitted at no cost.
- Chaperones do not get free admission to Omnimax movies and Laser shows.
School Groups
Note: Standard Omnimax movie pricing does not include Special Engagement Films. Membership cards are not valid for group admissions. Please be certain of your visit date before making your reservation – more than one date change will result in a processing fee. School Group chaperone pricing will be discussed at time of reservation.
Parking
Visitor parking at Carnegie Science Center and Highmark SportsWorks® is $5 per vehicle for non-members. Member parking rates are $3 per vehicle. Non-visitor parking is $5 per vehicle. Special parking rates apply for special events such as Pitt Panther games, Steelers games, and Pirates games; please call for details.
Tickets may be purchased at the door. Tickets are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change.
General admission includes Highmark SportsWorks®, four floors of hands-on exhibits, live demonstration shows, planetarium shows, and the USS Requin. Omnimax movies and laser shows are not included, but are available at special add-on rates when purchased with general admission on the same day.
Grown-Up Day: Every Tuesday
Carnegie Science Center isn't just for little kids. Grown-up kids 65 and above can indulge their youthful spirit every Tuesday with a special deal. Seniors ages 65+ receive discounted prices: General Admission for $5 and Omni films for just $5 more. Join us for a special Grown-Up Coffee Break on Tuesdays from 10-11 am in the River View Café with a chance to relax, chat, and have a cup of coffee for $1.60. There will also be a special 20% discount in the River View Café for seniors all day long.
The 50% Off Special
Come back to the Carnegie Science Center within two months of your visit with your receipt and receive 50% off the same number of general admission tickets from your last visit.
