Explore the science behind fireworks and light and get a front-row seat to the best fireworks show in town at Carnegie Science Center’s July 4th Fireworks Blowout on Thurs., July 4! 

If space is available to view them from the RiverView Café Terrace (just outside of the Café), walk-in tickets will be sold at the Ticket Counter anytime on July 4 for $49. Parking is $20 per vehicle. For any questions about this event, call 412.237.3400.

Enjoy premium viewing from the top floor of the PPG SCIENCE PAVILION™ and overlook Point State Park and the towering downtown buildings, all from the outdoor terrace or inside behind the floor-to-ceiling windows.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES: Starting at 8 pm until the fireworks, enjoy star-spangled stargazing with our astronomy experts from Buhl Planetarium! See the Sun through safe solar telescopes, then take in the night sky after the fireworks and the twilight’s last gleaming. Plus, sample some marshmallows frozen with liquid nitrogen!
