The Covestro Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair and the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Biological Sciences Outreach Program is offering a science research workshop. Students in 6th-12th grade, parents and teachers are encouraged to attend.

Jump start your research

  • Tips on choosing your topic
  • Participate in a hands-on research project
  • Discover secrets to presenting your project effectively to the judges
  • Learn from past science fair winners.

  • Admission is free, but reservations are required.
  • Registration begins at 6 pm. The workshop will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.

Carnegie Science Awards have honored the accomplishments of more than 500 individuals and organizations since 1997. Each year, the Carnegie Science Awards committee selects one Junior Division (6th grade) project, one Intermediate Division (7th-8th grade) project and one Senior Division (9th-12th) project who are recognized for their achievements at this prestigious event held annually in May.
