The Doors: The Final Cut – New 4K Restoration

Fri.–Sun., Aug. 2–3

“A real, roaring rock movie.” — Los Angeles Times

Discover the stunning new 4K restoration of three-time Academy Award® winning director Oliver Stone’s psychedelic music biopic The Doors: The Final Cut, brought to life with Dolby Atmos®, which will take audiences back to the world and sounds of one of the most iconic rock bands in history.

“This brand new 4K restoration of The Doors in Dolby Atmos® will provide far greater overall clarity and dimension for the audience...I wanted the film to be as immersive as possible to a real ’60s Doors experience,” Stone said.

First released in 1991, this film is a sonic journey that brilliantly captures the furious energy of the ’60s and the myth of The Doors’ iconic front man Jim Morrison (Val Kilmer), the man whose music shaped an era. Stone's powerful musical portrait, featuring an amazing soundtrack including over 25 songs from The Doors’ catalog, charts Morrison’s turbulent relationship with his muse Pamela Courson (Meg Ryan), the formation of the band in Southern California, his experimentation with hallucinogens and the occult, and his tragic death at the age of 27 in Paris.

Don’t miss your chance to experience Val Kilmer’s larger-than-life performance as Jim Morrison, now beautifully restored and as powerful as the music that inspired it.
