Full-day camps run from 9 am – 3 pm
Campers should bring their lunches

Trailblazers (ages 12-14)

This program will challenge you to solve a mock attack on Carnegie Science Center while exploring real STEM careers. Retrieve the clues and assess the risks using engineering, chemistry, and materials science skills. Will you blaze the trail to a new science profession?
Cost: $205 members / $220 non-members per session

Livin' It! A CanTEEN Camp (Girls only, ages 13-14)

Are you a girl who loves working on experiments? Are you a techie wiz? Do you redesign things to make them your own? Think girls can do it better? Explore STEM careers through hands-on activities, challenges, and digital interactives. Connect with awesome women who work with STEM to make a difference in the world while making a living! Explore how your interests can lead you to an awesome future.
$235 members / $250 non-members (including materials fee)

Educator in Training (ages 12-14)

July 7 – 11

Think you might like to join the Science Center education team? Come try it out for a week as you learn the skills necessary for working with children, then practice under the supervision of our instructors. This camp includes a child care and babysitting certification course, orientation, behind-the-scenes tour of the Science Center, and the chance to assist with one of our camps.
Cost: $235 members / $250 non-members per session

Minecraft Extreme (ages 12-14)

Use the popular cubed world of Minecraft to explore and build in a cooperative 3D world where you mine for resources, then refine, combine, and use them to build amazing creations. Campers will use the periodic table of elements and examine how elements combine to form molecules. Discover how basic survival techniques that are beneficial in the game apply to real life. Learn about 3D modeling and watch as we print our Minecraft creations on a 3D printer!
Cost: $235 members / $250 non-members per session
