21+ Night: The Art and Science of Glass

Join us for a no-kids night at Carnegie Science Center, co-sponsored by the Pittsburgh Glass Center. Explore exhibits, participate in hands-on scientific demos, enjoy live music, and experience the Science Center in an adults-only atmosphere. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Watch flameworker Bob Greer twist and twirl molten glass at the torch and create feather-weight works of art. Learn about the science of melting glass and other materials at temperatures over 2,000 degrees and how glass gets its color.
