JOB TITLE: Part-Time Computer Science Instructor- CSC
DESCRIPTION: Join the team that brings hands-on, relevant, and fun science experiences to hundreds of thousands of people every year. Carnegie Science Center is looking for an experienced computer science instructor to teach coding, game design, robotics, and app design to children during weekend workshops.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge and experience with teaching computer programming skills to students. Candidates should be patient, flexible, and comfortable leading a group of 15-30 students. Candidate must have experience working with children, and a degree in education is preferred. Candidates should be available to work weekend hours September through May.
