Partnering with educators in Pittsburgh and beyond

Each year, more than 70,000 students take a field trip to the Science Center, and thousands more participate in our competitions, workshops, summer camps, and outreach programs. But our educational offerings don’t end with students — in fact, more than 5,000 educators are reached by the Science Center’s professional development programs every year. Tour Your Future inspires girls to explore STEM careers

This past summer, we took the Tour Your Future program on the road to Cleveland, Ohio, where a contingent of 31 girls and their chaperones participated in a day full of STEM tours, activities, and career panels with female professionals in a wide variety of fields.

Makers + Mentors Network named our Mentors in the Making program the Most Innovative Maker-Centered Learning Program of the Year.
