Here's a great opportunity for your students to use their foreign language skills in a real-world setting! Immerse your class in a day of foreign language activities at Carnegie Science Center.
During February 2017, foreign language film screenings of the movie Sea Monsters will be available in French, Spanish AND German at Rangos Omnimax Theater! Experience the prehistoric world of the Cretaceous and watch as a series of paleontological digs from around the globe are woven together to reconstruct an 82 million-year-old mystery.
After the film, students tackle a French, Spanish, or German scavenger hunt in the exhibits. The grand finale is a showing of Two Small Pieces of Glass, an enchanting show about telescopes, in the Buhl Planetarium (available in French, Spanish, or German).
Advance reservations are required. Please call our reservations team to plan your visit at 412‑237‑3400, then press 7.
