Half-Day Camps for Kids Ages 4-5

All Aboard Take a tour of the Miniature Railroad and Village® and learn how the engineers keep the trains running. Build and take home a model train of your own. Camp Carle Based on the children’s book series by Eric Carle, this camp will explore The Very Busy Spider, The Tiny Seed, A House for Hermit Crab, and other classic stories. Creepy Crawly Bugs Learn all about bugs! Build a bug house to start your own bug collection. Make bug snacks and learn about the life cycle of insects. NEW! Icky Science Have you every wondered why you get a scab after a cut or what happens to your food after you eat it? Come and discover the icky side of science. Messy Mixtures Chemistry can be fun and messy! Create chemistry experiments from items you can find in your own home. Outer Space Blast off to explore the world beyond Earth. Discover the moon, stars, and other planets that share our solar system. See The Sky Above Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood and create a solar system of your own. Planes, Trains and Cars From airplanes to racecars, learn all about things that go! Create your very own boat that floats and check out our hot air balloon. Water Wonders Get wet as you dive into the world of water. Learn about the creatures that live in the deep blue seas and raging rivers. Experiment with water and even do a rain dance! NEW! What We Eat Learn more about the food that you eat and how to make healthy eating choices.

Payment is due at the time of registration.

Refund Policy
Cancellations made 14 days in advance of the camp start date will receive a refund equal to the cost of class minus a $25 service fee per person per program. Cancellations not made 14 days in advance will not receive a refund.

Cancellation Policy
In case of insufficient registration, Carnegie Science Center reserves the right to cancel any program two weeks before it begins. All registered participants will receive a full refund.
