Come for a special evening as we invite you to view our two newest Omnimax movies, both produced by National Geographic!
6:30 pm: Mysteries of the Unseen World
How much of the world do we miss because things are too small, too fast, too slow – or simply invisible? You won't want to miss the answer in this visually stunning film. Mysteries of the Unseen World uses innovative high-speed and time-lapse photography, electron microscopy, and nanotechnology to transport audiences to an enthralling secret world of nature, events, and breathtaking phenomena not visible to the naked eye. Discover things that are all around us, but that our eyes are not equipped to show us in all their complexity.
7:30 pm: Jerusalem
Take an inspiring and eye-opening tour of one of the world's oldest and most enigmatic cities. What made it so important to so many different cultures? Jerusalem follows three young women of Jerusalem – Jewish, Christian, and Muslim. Through their eyes, learn what it means to call Jerusalem home, and experience celebrations and events that mark the high points of a year in the life of the city. Jerusalem also follows noted archaeologist Dr. Jodi Magness as she explores some of the most extraordinary historical sites in the region in order to better understand this crossroads of civilization.
Educators are invited, along with up to three guests, to come for one movie, or stay and see both! Each film is about 45 minutes long, so you and the kids can be home in plenty of time for homework.
