Kim Moses

“My student left this monumental occasion in her life saying that Science Center programs set her up for something different, something better, and something greater.”

KIM MOSES has the type of personality that practically jumps off the page. Involved with the Science Center’s STEM competitions, Kim has had plenty of students participate and discover a greater sense of purpose.

When she recalls what one student said to her just after graduating, she gets a little choked up. But she’s certain it’s a story worth sharing. “Right after my student got off the stage she held me, started to cry, and said, ‘I would have never known that I was into science or engineering or art or any of this stuff if it had not been for the initial spark.’”

Looking back, what impresses Kim the most is the role the Science Center played in her student’s future. “My student left this monumental occasion in her life saying that Science Center programs set her up for something different, something better, and something greater.”
